  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple
  • Cool Whip Free (optional)
  • Shredded coconut (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan thoroughly.
In the bowl of your mixer, beat cake mix and can of crushed pineapple (juice and all) on medium speed for one minute. Scrape batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffy and dark golden brown all over the top.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving.
This cake is also awesome for lunches — just cut a piece and wrap it up. It can easily be eaten with hands!!
