• 2 egg yolks - beaten
• 6 T melted oleo or butter
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 1/3 t baking powder
• 2 egg whites
• 1 3/4 C Buttermilk
• 2 C flour
• 1/4 t Baking Soda
• 1 T sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Blend beaten egg yolk into buttermilk & melted oleo. Sift flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder & sugar. Blend into liquid. Beat egg whites till stiff. Fold all ingredients into liquid.

Pour about 1/3 C onto hot waffle iron. Enjoy with syrup, fuit, and/or powdered sugar.
