Ingredients

  • Toppings:
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 pkg. Williams’ taco seasoning
  • 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing mix
  • 15 oz. can red beans
  • 15 oz. can black beans
  • 15 oz. can whole kernel corn
  • 10 oz. can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes & Green Chiles (original)
  • 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • Corn chips, coarsely crushed
  • Diced fresh tomatoes
  • Sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

In Dutch oven, brown ground beef and onion; drain well. Add taco seasoning and Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing mix (use the one that requires buttermilk and mayonnaise). Mix well. Add canned ingredients with juices. Bring to a boil and simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Serve in large bowls with the toppings of your choice. (I would say the Fritos, sour cream and cheddar cheese are “must haves” and the onions and tomatoes are optional.) Serves 6 large appetites.
