Heaven on a plate! I can't even think of how many times I've made this pie.If my friends and family knew just how easy it was to make they might quit asking me to functions. Making one this evening for a friend that just had oral surgery. SHe asked for just the filling because she can't eat the crust now. As she put it "just make the good stuff."
Love this dessert. Always a hit. Easy to make, delicious looking and tasty. Think I will make it today and jazz up the drizzle for the 4th of July.
Biggest Hit EVER! This is now my Family, Co-workers, Students and friends favorite. I however make it in a full sheet cake pan. Making the recipie x 4. I however freeze it overnite. Its great to take to summer cookouts. ***I use 2 pkgs of chrushed oreos and 2 sticks of margarine for the crust**** This desert isn't for weight watchers! Lifes to short ENJOY!
Crowd Pleaser and Easy to make! I originally found this recipe in one of my magazines. The first time I made it was a few years ago for Easter, and when I placed it out everyone gathered around and devoured it piece by piece, almost instantly. Since then everyone requests this as my contribution to our family gatherings-usually they want 2 because its so good! Its also very easy to make! Now I keep it saved to my favorites on my computer. I will be making it again tomorrow for Memorial day!
This pie is so easy to make and everyone Loves it!! Yummmmm!
I found this recipe in a magazine while waiting for my kids at the public library at least 5 yrs ago. It is a MUST HAVE at every holiday and is requested by my co-workers often. I have even had co-workers sign me up to make it themselves!! It is truly the best peanut butter pie recipe ever.
Doubled the recipe and made this in an oversized roasting pan for my staff at work. However, I bought 3 chocolate pie crusts and dumped into the bottom of the pan. Also added some chopped up Reese's Pieces to the filling and on top.. Not a bit left at the end of the day!! MAKE THIS PIE!!!!
Absolutely, without a doubt, the very best! I have been making this recipe for about 3 years now. Everywhere we go, I am requested to bring a peanut butter pie. People take their pie before they take their entreé to be sure they will get a piece! There are several variations to help drop calories. Jif now has Simply Jif which drops sugar and sodium as well as their reduced fat variety. I've also used 1/3 less fat cream cheese, Splenda Blend, Cool Whip Light and sugar free hot fudge. The fat free cream cheese doesn't hold together well or have the right consistency. The peanut butter flavor is amazing as this is the first recipe to have enough peanut butter to make the difference. I also recently made a large trifle with the same ingredients as I would have had to make at least 3-4 pies. It worked well with Oreo/chocolate cookie crumbs, etc. in layers. This pie is a sure winner no matter how you fix it!!
