Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 3/4 tspbaking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1 1/3 cups brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups oats
• 1 cup raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour salt,soda,and spices
Cream shortening,sugar,eggs, and vanilla
Stir together and add oatmeal and raisins
Drop rounded teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet

Bake @ 350 for 10-12 mins
