Ingredients

  • 1 (4 pound) Sirloin tip roast
  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 carrots, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 4 large onions, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 6 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 2 (10.75 oz) cans of cream of onion soup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tbs house seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Place roast and next five ingredients in a large roasting pan. Whisk together soup, water and house seasoning. Pour over roast and vegetables. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake an additional 3 hours, or until tender. Uncover the last 30 minutes to brown.
