Ingredients

  • 4 c rolled oats
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 1/2 c butter, cold & diced
  • 2 c low-sugar jam (apricot &/or rasp work well, something tart)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350, grease 13x9 pan.

In large bowl, mix oats, flour, sugar, salt & butter, using pastry cutter if necessary. Pat half the mixture into bottom of pan. Spread Jelly evenly over dough, sprinkle remaining dough over jelly & lightly flatten with fingertips. Bake 25-30 mins, or until golden.
