Decadent Chocolate Layer Cake (Paula Deen)

** Needs bake and chill time for cheesecake center.

Ingredients

• Cake
• 1 box of chocolate cake mix
• 1/2 C of Amoretto
• 1/2 C Water
• 1/4 C of Vegetable Oil
• 3 Large eggs
• Frosting
• 1 C butter, softened
• 12 squares (1 ounce) chocoate, melted and cooled
• 6 C Powdered Sugar
• 2 Tbs Amaretto
• 1/4 C Milk

Preparation

Step 1

Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine cake mix, liquor, water, oil and eggs. Until smooth. Pour into prepared pans and bake for 28 to 32 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to plate to cool completely. Layer with cheesecake and ice with chocolate almond frosting.

Chocolate Almond Frosting

Beat butter until creamy. Add cooled chocolate, beat until combined. Gradually beat in powdered sugar. Add amoretto and milk and stir until combined.
