Cheeseburger Biscuit Bake

Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
• 1/4 cup chopped onion
• 8 oz tomato sauce
• 1/4 cup ketchup
• black pepper, to taste preference
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 12 oz tube refrigerator biscuits (you will need 9 biscuits)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Spray/grease 8in baking dish.

In a large skillet, brown meat with onion until meat is no longer pink. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup and pepper. Spoon half of mixture into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top. Repeat layers.

Place biscuit around the edge of the dish, leaving the middle open. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until biscuits are brown and cheese is bubbly.
