Ingredients

  • 5 c. flour
  • 2 pkg. Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. warm water

Preparation

Step 1

Warm up your bowl (with hot water)and put in the dough hook.

Empty bowl.

Place in the warm water, yeast, sugar and 1 tbsp. oil. Allow to foam.

Add flour and salt and mix dough until smooth and pulls away from the bowl.

Drizzle 1/2 of the oil over the dough and turn over to coat all sides of the dough

Let rise to double the size (at least 1 hour)

Punch the dough down and knead. Put back into the bowl and drizzle remaining oil over dough and coat all sides.

Let rise again to double the size.

Punch down the dough and cut into 4 piece.

Roll dough out and top with your favourite sauce and toppings.

Bake at 450 - 475 on bottom shelf for 13 minutes and then put on middle shelf for 2 minutes or until brown (you can turn on the broiler to brown it.)
