Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 (1.25oz) pkg taco seasoning mix
  • 4 slices jack cheese
  • 2 TBL butter, softened
  • 8 slices Texas toast
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 1 C french-fried onion rings
  • 1/2 C chunk salsa

Preparation

Step 1

Instructions:
in lg. bowl, combine grd. chuck & taco seasoning
form mix into 4 even patties

preheat grill to med-high
spray grill rack
grill burgers, covered w/ grill lid - 5 min per side or until desired degree
of doneness
top each patty w/ 1 slice
cheese grill, covered w/ grill lid, until cheese is melted 1-2 min

spread butter evenly on both sides of toast
grill toast for 1-2 min per side, or until golden brown

spread 2 TBL sour cream on 4 toast slices
top each w/ 1/4C fried onions, 1 burger & t TBL salsa
cover w/ remaining 4 toast slices

serve immediately
