  • 1/2 lb. (1 cup) butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 cups Cake and pastry flour



Step 1

Sift brown sugar and pastry flour three times

Knead butter (from the fridge) into sugar and flour- keep kneading until cracks appear in the dough.

Make into rolls, wrap in wax paper, refrigerate over night slice (1/4”) place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325 and bake aprox. 15 min.
