Glazed Strawberry Muffins

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup plus 4–5 tsp. milk, divided
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup chopped strawberries (about 6 oz.)
- 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly spray a 12-cupmuffin pan with nonstick cooking spray. Combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder andsalt in a large bowl.
Combine 3/4 cup milk, the butter, vanilla and almond extracts and the egg in a small bowl. Whiskuntil blended.
Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture and stir until just blended. Fold inthe strawberries.
Divide the batter evenly among the preparedmuffin cups. Bake untillightly golden, 18–22 minutes. Transfer the muffins to a wire rackto cool slightly.
Combine the confectioners’ sugar and enough of the remaining milk to make a thin glaze in a small bowl. Drizzle the glaze over the warm muffins. Serve warm.
