Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef round steak
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 (28-oz.) can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup low sodium beef broth
  • 27 ounces canned kidney beans, drained

Preparation

Step 1

Spread mustard on round steak and sprinkle with chili powder; place in slow cooker; add tomatoes, onion, beef broth and beans. Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours, or until steak is fork-tender.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve corn muffins on the side. Add a relish tray of baby carrots, cherry tomatoes and cucumber spears.
GLUTEN FREE: Make sure mustard, tomatoes, beef broth and kidney beans are gluten free.
