Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together thoroughly butter, sugar and vanilla. Then stir in flour and salt. Add walnuts. Chill dough slightly and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 1/2-inch apart. Bake at 375 degrees until set not brown, 8-10 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar. Roll again when cool.
