Ingredients

  • 4 T butter
  • 6 T flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup half n half
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/4 t paprika
  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1/3 cup diced cooked celery
  • 3 T chopped cooked green peppers
  • onions, cooked and chopped
  • vegetables (frozen)

Preparation

Step 1

melt butter and add flour, mixing until smooth. Gradually blend in milk, stock and half n half. Cook and stir until sauce is creamy and slightly thickened. Add salt, paprika, chicken, celery, peppers & veggies.
Pour into a greased shall baking pan (I used corning ware). Cover with biscuits. Bake at 350^ for 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden.

1 cup flour, 2 t baking powder, 1/8 t salt, 1/84 c shortening, 1 egg, 1/4 cup milk ~ make biscuits and roll out 1/2 inch thick and cut out biscuits 1 1/2 inches in diameter
