Karen's Peach Pie

pie filling or glaze for angel food cake, ice-cream or cheesecake

Ingredients

• 1 baked pie shell
• 1 (3 oz) package peach jello
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 TBL conrnstarch
• 1 cup water
• 1 TBL butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the jello, sugar and cornstarch together; then add water. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Then add the butter. Set aside to cool.

Add sliced peaches and pour into pie shell.

This can also be used as a gaze for angel food cake, ice-cream or cheesecake. May want to increase water amount to 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 if it's going to be used as a glaze rather than a pie.
