Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 whole heads garlic (about 48 cloves), unpeeled
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sour cream
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground black pepper
  • 3 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped fresh chives (optional)
