Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 package frozen corn
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 4 strips of bacon, cut in halves

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place rice in the bottom of a buttered two-quart casserole.
Add corn and half of the Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with half other seasonings. Pour one can of tomato sauce plus 1/2 cup water over above layer.
Then, in order, layer onion, green pepper and ground beef. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and seasonings. Pour on second can of tomato sauce plus 1/4 cup water.
Arrange bacon strips on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
