Holiday Gift Cakes

Ingredients

• 1 8 oz. pkg. of cream cheese
• 1 cup of margarine
• 1 1/2 cups of sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 4 eggs
• 2 1/4 cups of sifted flour
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 3/4 cup mangarine oranges (8 oz. jar)
• 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
• 3/4 cup of maraschino cherries (8 oz. jar)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Blend softened cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Gradually add 2 cups of flour and baking powder. Combine remaining flour, cherries, 1/2 nuts and fold into batter. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes in a bundt pan.

1 cup batter- 6x3 1/2" loaf pan- 45 to 50 minutes
