This frosting is delicious!!! I find that you adding more heavy cream makes it light fluffy and spreadable. Ugh..I almost ate the whole bowl before I got it on my cake. Delicious!!
OMGoodness, best, absolutely best and easiest buttercream frosting you'll ever make!!!
The texture is to die for and the color is beautiful (I mix food coloring in and it always comes out bright and pretty. My only suggestion is that its too sweet at least for my families food pallet, so instead of the whipping cream I use 2 tablespoons of 2% milk. Doesn't change the texture and I'm still able to use it for decorating. Cheers!
The perfect "GO TO" Vanilla buttercream! I love vanilla so I added about 1/2 teaspoon extra and made sure to get some of the vanilla bean seeds from the extract to give the frosting that "real vanilla" look.
This recipe was so easy and taste great. The frosting did not melt at all out in the heat at a birthday party. Everyone loved it!
This buttercream was delicious!!! I have tried other buttercream recipes & they had a bad taste to them. This one did not have a strong butter flavor. I used no-salt butter instead of regular butter. I also only used a 1/2 teaspoon instead of a whole cause I didn't want a huge vanilla flavor. Loved how quick & easy it was as well. This is my new go to buttercream recipe.
Followed the recipe as given, using 2 tbsp of whipping cream and UNSALTED butter. I did add a dash of salt to cut the sweetness. It did the trick. Used the frosting for cupcakes- was nice and puffy. Very happy with the results.
Fantabulous!!!
DELICIOUS! This is so good. The vanilla makes all the difference. Added bonus: It's super easy.
YUM!! This is delicious. If you do not have whipping cream you can substitute 2 tbsp. extra of butter and 1 tablespooon of milk.
Love this! I also did a variation with extra cream and used extra almond flavoring instead of vanilla and that may be my new favorite frosting ever!!
Excellent!! So easy and so delicious!! I used it for 24 cupcakes it was plenty, everyone loved it!!
Yummy, Yummy, Yummy. Perfect buttercream frosting. I used this on Alton Brown's Chiffon Cupcakes and it was perfect. Very easy recipe and comes together in no time. This amount frosted about 15 cupcakes.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe. It is my favorite. I made 168 cupcakes for a party and it was a huge hit. I had none left, everyone wanted to take them home. It is so fast and easy and tasty. I use salted butter. I made a batch with unsalted and it was not as good. This recipe will forever be a staple for my frosting needs. Love It!!
I am in love with this recipe I suggest for anyone and everyone. I used it to ice cupcakes and it was hit I had people licking of the icing. SECOND TIME MAKING IT !!!
Easy, light texture, and delicious! It makes your mouth happy!
This is the best buttercream frosting I have ever made! It is the right balance of smooth, creamy and not overly sweet. I made it for my wacky chocolate cupcakes (which I add a little coffee and khalua to and it was a perfect match. It also held up it's shape nicely with decorative frosting.
I just made this recipe and it was a HUGE hit in my house! My husband typically dislikes frosting and I don't like cake without frosting. It was a perfect blend of the creamy that I like with the touch of sweetness but not overly sweet for my husband.
Excellent! A perfect consistency for buttercream frosting. I will be making this again!
Delicious! Easy to make and tastes amazing. I hope we have enough to make our cupcakes! We can't stop tasting it!
Super easy and just delicious! The most requested icing from my friends. Ten times better than the gunk that is slathered all over a store bought cake, that's for sure.
