Macaroni & "Cheese" - Allergy Free
A delicious macaroni and cheese casserole that contains NO dairy, no soy, no egg, no nuts, no legumes!!! YUM!

Ingredients
- 1/4 box of elbow macaroni (I used whole wheat)
- 1/4 c safe oil (I used canola)
- a little less then 1/4 cup flour (I used whole wheat)
- 1/8 c nutritional yeast flakes
- maybe 1/2c-1c rice milk (or allergy free safe milk)
- sprinkle onion powder
- sprinkle dry mustard
- sprinkle pepper
- sprinkle salt
- 2 small bags of oyster crackers (or soft allergy free crackers)
- 2 T oil

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven 350
2. Cook pasta according to box.
3. In small pot warm 1/4 c oil over medium heat.
4. Add flour, stirring constantly with whisk.
5. Add yeast flakes, stirring.
6. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until a thick creamy texture.
7. Sprinkle with onion powder, dry mustard, salt and pepper to taste.
8. Drain pasta and add to small baking dish.
9. Pour "cheese" sauce over pasta and mix.
10. Mix cracker crumbs and 2T of oil and spread mixture on top of macaroni.
11. Cook in preheated oven for 30 minutes. (I cook on top of cookie sheet in case it bubbles over and creates a hug mess)
12. Allow to cool and enjoy!
