BAKERS BEST BANANA COFFEE CAKE

Got this recipe from a Bakers Chocolate insert... great way to use bananas

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 cups mashed bananas
• 3 cups flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 tsp cinammon
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 300 gram chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar and add eggs. Beat till smooth. Add vanilla and mashed bananas. Mix till smooth. Sift flour, soda and powder. Add to banana mixture alternately with sour cream. Pour 1/2 of mixture into 9 x 13 pan. Combine cinammon and brown sugar. Sprinkle half on batter with 1/2 of the chocolate chips. Pour remaining batter over. Sprinkle with brown sugar and remaining chcoclate chips. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
