- 3/4 c water
- 1/2 c tahini (sesame-seed paste)
- 6 garlic cloves, peeled
- 6 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. EVOO
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 (19-oz) cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
