Ingredients

  • 1-2/12 to 3 pound chicken or 8 chicken breasts.
  • 1/2 C Salad Oil
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Oregano
  • 1/8 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/8 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 C All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tsp Paprika

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Wash chicken and pat dry. Mix oil, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Pour over chicken. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours, turning occasionally. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Stir together flour and paprika. Remove chicken, reserving marinade. Coat chicken with flour mixture. Dip back into marinate. Place in a single layer in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake 1 hour, or until tender.
