Ingredients

  • 1 T plus 1 t vegetable oil
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1 c chopped green pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves - minced
  • 1 beef boullion cube
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese
  • Dash of black pepper
  • 3 oz dry oats
  • 1/2 c tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c plain yogurt
  • 1 T parsley flakes
  • 2 t worcestershire sauce
  • 1 t chili powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375
Heat oil in skillet
Add onion, pepper, garlic, and boullion
Saute until onion is translucent
Combine sauteed mixture with remaining ingredients in mixing bowl
Shape into 4 equal sized loaves
Top with a small amount of tomato paste mixed with 2 t sugar
Bake on a rack over pan to catch drippings for 45 min
