Ingredients

  • 1 sheet thawed puff pastry sheet
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs beaten with 1 tbsp water

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400
Cook sausage, crumble into small pieces
Roll out puff pastry into 12 x 16 inch rectangle
Spread sausage over the puff pastry sheet, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Roll up the pastry and press to adhere.
Cut crosswise into 1/2 inch pieces
Place each piece flat onto baking sheet. Brush each with egg mixture.
Bake until golden, about 15 minutes
