Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup persimmon pulp
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cloves

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease bottom of baking sheet or use parchment paper to line.
Sift together dry ingredients (NOT sugar).
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Cream butter and sugar together.
Beat in eggs and persimmon pulp.
Mix well.
Drop from rounded teaspoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool on wire racks.
