Ingredients

  • 8 Slices Bacon
  • 1 Cups Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Green Pepper, Chopped
  • 1 (1-lb) Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 Cups Water
  • 3/4 Cups Rice, Uncooked
  • 1/2 Cups Chili Sauce
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Chop bacon and cook until crisp. Remove from heat.

Reserve 2 Tbsp bacon fat to cook onion and green pepper until tender but not brown.

Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle bacon on top.
