  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate pieces

Step 1

Spread nuts in buttered 9x9x2" pan. Melt butter in saucepan, stir in brown sugar and cook until boiling, being careful not to overflow. Lower heat and cook for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over nuts and top evenbly with chocolate pieces. Cover with a bread board to help melt the chocolate pieces. With a knive spread the melted chocolate pieces to cover. Cool in refrigerator for 1 hour, or until chocolate is firm.
