- 1 c cider vinger
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced1 stalk celery chopped
- 2 whole allspice 1/24 whole cloves 1 tbs salt 1 1/2
- tsp pepper 4 lbs rump or boned chuck pot roast 4 tbsp flour 1/3 cp salad oil 1 tbs sugar

Preparation
Step 1
combine vinegar, onions, carrots celery allspice cloves salt and pepper heat do not boil pour over meat and marinade in refrig for 3-4 days.
remove meat from marinade reserve marinade brown in oil add marinade simmer covered 2 1/2 to 3 hrs thicken sauce with flour, sugar and ginger snaps crushed add add water if necessary
