Mac & Cheese, Baked & Super Easy

If you use the called for 9x13 pan it comes out being pretty thin. I experimented and used a 7 1/2x11 inch Pyrex pan and it fit perfectly. I stirred it after the first hour to get the cubes of cheese a bit more distributed and then baked it another 20 minutes to crisp up the top. Perfect!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups macaroni NOT cooked
- 1 stick butter
- 8 oz sharp cheese (2 cups cubed)
- 12 ounce cottage cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F
Combine all ingredients in a 9x13 pan. Stir well.
Bake at 350 1- 1 1/2 hrs.
Notes:
Butter may be reduced to half a stick. Low fat Cheddar and Cottage Cheese can be used to cut calories.
