Ingredients
- 1 c. frozen whole kernel corn
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 2 c. whole milk
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 (7 oz.) can flaked crab meat
- snipped fresh chives

Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan, combine corn, broth, green onion, green pepper, basil and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir together the milk and cornstarch. Stir into the hot mixture. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly (about 5 minutes). Stir in cheese and crab; heat on low and stir until cheese is melted. Garnish with chives, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
