Ingredients
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons sherry (or use red grape juice)
- 1/2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 4 (5-oz.) extra firm tofu “steaks”

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven broiler. In a large zipper-topped plastic bag, combine orange juice, sherry (or juice), soy sauce, brown sugar and garlic; add tofu, seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes while you prepare the rest of the meal. Pull tofu from marinade, discarding marinade and plastic bag. Place tofu on broiler pan and cook to your liking, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Baked russet potatoes and steamed broccoli.
GLUTEN FREE: Make sure sherry and soy sauce is gluten free.
