Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 3 1/2 cups biscuit or baking mix
  • 1 1/3 cups 2% milk
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil; cook until liquid is evaporated. Transfer to 11x7 baking dish; layer with salsa, corn and cheese.
In lg. bowl mix biscuit mix and milk just until blended; drop mixture by tablespoonfuls over cheese (dish will be full). Sprinkle with S&P.
Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 35-45 minutes or until bubbly and topping is golden brown.
