Ingredients

  • 3 pounds small new potatoes
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1-3 teaspoons hot sauce (Tabasco, Texas Pete, etc) to taste
  • 4-8 tablespoons melted butter to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Peel and wash the potatoes and put them in a pot of cold water.

2. Mix together the vinegar and hot sauce and add them to the pot. Bring the potatoes to a boil and simmer about 45 minutes or until they are easily pierced with a fork. Drain and drizzle on the melted butter, mixing in but taking care not to breal up the potatoes too much. Salt and pepper to taste.
