Ingredients
- 4 egg whites
- 2 1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon clear vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Stir together all ingredients in a large bowl, blending well. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
2. Bake at 325 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Tip: Using clear vanilla extract will keep the macaroons pearly white, but if you don't have it, regular vanilla extract will do.
