Ingredients
- 1 loaf stale French bread
- 1 quart milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- T vanilla
- 1 c dried cherries
- Heavy cream

Preparation
Step 1
Cut bread into 1" cubes; place in bowl Pour milk over; let stand 1 hr. Preheat oven 325 deg. Butter sides & bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Beat eggs, sugar & vanilla. Stir into bread mix. Add dried cherries. Pour into prepared baking dish. Bake for 1 hr 10 mins. Cool to room temp,cover with foil, refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrig. 30 mins before reheating. Cover with foil, bake 325 deg for 15-20 mins. Serve warm.
