Ingredients

8 uncooked bratwurst links
2 12 oz. beers
4 T brown sugar
2 T prepared mustard
2 t chili powder
Several dashes of hot sauce
2 c hickory or oak wood chips

Preparation

Step 1

Mix beer, sugar, mustard, chili powder and sauce. Make several holes in brats. Marinate the brats 6 - 48 hrs. Place 2 1/2 handfuls of chips in tinfoil. Pierce the foil. Heat the grill and place wood chips on top until they begin to smoke. Place brats on grill and cook for 20-25 mins.

Can enjoy grilled onions and peppers with the brats.
