CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - Dick

Ingredients

• 1/2 c shortening
• 1/2 c butter
• 1/2 c granulated sugar
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 1/2 c flour
• 1 3/4 cup chocolate chips (or 1 cup chocolate chips and 3/4 cups other chips)

Preparation

Step 1

Oven 375
1. Cream butter, shortening and sugars
2. Add eggs and vanilla
3. Mix in flour and baking soda
4. Fold in chips
5. drop by TBS onto ungreased baking sheet. Don't use Silpat. . Bake 8-10 minutes. 9" is best.
