Ingredients
- 12 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed (Oreo’s)
- 1 tablespoon margarine, melted
- 1 cup chopped pecans, divided
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 (14 ounce) bag caramel candies
- 3 ( 8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- ¾ cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup miniature chocolate chip morsels

Step 1
Line microwave spring-form pan with a circle of parchment or wax paper cut to fit.
Combine cookie crumbs and margarine; blend well.
Press crumb mixture onto bottom of lined insert.
Microwave on high 1 to 1½ minutes.
Sprinkle ½ cup pecans over crust; set aside.
Place milk and unwrapped candies in a 2-cup glass measure.
Stirring midway through cooking, microwave on high 2½ minutes, or until candies are melted. Set aside.
Place unwrapped packages of cream cheese in a 2-quart glass
measure. Microwave on medium (50%) 3 minutes or until softened. Beat well with electric mixer; add sugar and beat well.
Add eggs; beat until smooth. Add sour cream and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Pour 1 cup of caramel mixture over prepared crust. Pour cream cheese mixture over caramel. Rotating as needed, microwave on medium-high (70%) 11 to 13 minutes, or until center juggles only slightly. Let stand 5 minutes.
Pour remaining caramel mixture over top of cheesecake.
Combine remaining pecans and chocolate morsels; sprinkle over top of cheesecake. Let stand on counter 1 hour; refrigerate. To remove cheesecake, lift insert by holders and remove. Slide cheesecake from
insert onto serving plate.
