Ingredients
- 1/2 pound butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspooons lemon juice
- 2 pounds jumbo shrimp - cleaned, deveined and butterflied

Preparation
Step 1
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in the garlic and cook until it is soft, 2-3 minutes. Add brown sugar, tomato sauce, pepper, and lemon juice. Bring to si,mmer. Remove from heat.
2. Cook the shrimp directly over white-hot coals 3-5 minutes, turning once and basting well with the barbecue sauce while cooking.
3. Serve with remaining basting sauce drizzled over shrimp.
