Aunt Virginia's Chocolate Chip Cookies

My aunt would always have these on hand when I would visit. She put them in a freezer in an ice cream bucket. She would always mix it by hand instead of using a mixer.

Ingredients

• 2 sticks oleo
• 3/4 cup Brown sugar
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 tsp water
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups + 4 heaping tsp flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together oleo, sugars, vanilla, water and eggs. Add in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
