Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tbsp. melted butter, divided
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 1 tsp. soy sauce

Step 1
Saute mushrooms in 2 tbsp. butter; set aside.
Combine flour and remaining butter; place over low heat, stirring until smooth. Gradually add half-and-half; cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Stir in soy sauce and mushrooms. Serve hot with roast or steak.
Yield: about 1 1/2 cups
