TAKE ALONG COOKIES

1 cup butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
¼ cup water
2 cups flour
½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup quick oats uncooked
1 cup raisins
Frosting:
1 cup powered sugar
½ tsp. lemon peel
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. chopped walnuts
Soften butter, beat together with brown sugar blend in egg and water.
Add flour mixture to above, stir in oats and raisins.
Place in a greased 15 X 10 baking pan
Bake in oven at 350deg. About 35 minutes, cool and frost and put nuts on top.
