Ingredients

  • 1 c rice
  • 2 c water
  • salt
  • Frozen Vegetables (my favorite is snow peas, baby corn and red bell or frozen peas)
  • 1-2 T Canola oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 t bouquet garni or thyme
  • 1 T worchestire sauce

Step 1

Precook rice - bring rice, water and salt to a boil, cover and turn down to simmer for 20 minutes. put aside

When rice is down, heat WOK or other large pan til HOT, add oil, then rice. Season with Salt, pepper, bouquet garni (or thyme) and worchestire sauce, stirring constantly. Add frozen vegetables and stir constantly. Don't overcook. It's done when vegetables are no longer frozen and just barely cooked.
