  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Heat oven to 400F. Oil a 8-in. square baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine the corn muffin mix, cheddar, and jalapeno. Add the milk and egg and mix to combine.

Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake until golden brown and a pick inserted in the center comes out clean 15 to 20 minutes.
