PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

• 1 cup shortening
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 1 cup sugar - granulated
• 1 cup brown sugar - packed
• 2 eggs - well beaten
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 2 cup sifted flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix shortening, salt, and peanut butter well.

Gradually add both sugars and cream thoroughly.

Add eggs and milk and mix well.

Blend in flour and baking soda.

Drop on greased sheets.

Flatten with fork.

Bake for 15-20 minutes at 325 degrees.
