Ingredients
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 c. self rising flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 1 1/12 c. hot water
- ice cream or sweetened whipped cream

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9 x 13 inch pan place butter and put inthe oven just until butter melts. In a mixing bowl combine flour, sugar milk and vanilla. Stir to combine. Pour over melted butter and do not stir. Sprinkle brown sugar ober butter. Add water slowly and do not stir. Bake until golden brown about 35 minutes. Serve watm with ice cream.
