Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean hamburger
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk chopped celery
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce with basil, garlic & oregano
  • 1 (5.5 oz) can V8 vegetable juice
  • About 3 cups cooked elbow macaroni (1 cup uncooked)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Brown ground beef, drain fat, if any. Cook with onions and celery until tender. Cook macaroni in boiling water until al dente. Add to ground beef. Add remaining ingredients. Add water if too dry. Put in casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
